Program Benefits
This training program will not only facilitate learning about climate-resilient WASH systems from industry experts but also provide exciting opportunities for all participants. Along with course certifications, three ideas from the Idea contest will win strategic support for incubation. There will also be an opportunity to win an internship with WaterAid. Overall, Jolkona aims to uplift young female engineers to become equipped for facing social development challenges related to climate change and WASH and come up with effective innovative ideas.
40 Certificates
The program will award a full scholarship to all 40 participants selected to be a part of Jolkona. As a certified course, 40 of the sponsored participants will get a chance to receive all course benefits.
3 Idea incubation support
5 of the best ideas from the idea contest will be awarded strategic support for implementation. All Jolkona participants will get a chance to pitch their ideas
Internship
All 40 participants will get to compete for an internship with WaterAid. Only the best candidates who uphold the core values of Jolkona and shows dedication to the WASH sector will be considered for this position. The internship will be awarded based on active participation, interactions and learning evaluation
